I enjoyed the friendly vibe at the St Regis. The bar staff, especially Alfonz, really made my nights special with personalized drinks and a singing performance. The mini-suite layout impressed me a lot. It had a cozy sofa, perfect for lounging after a long day. A two-door bathroom for extra privacy if more people were in the room. The location was a big plus, connected to the Fisher Building, making it easy to explore Detroit. However, breakfast was a letdown. Even with only a couple of tables occupied, service was painfully slow, and the staff on Saturday seemed overwhelmed. I noticed some areas of the hotel showing signs of wear. Updating the facilities would make a significant difference. Overall, I had a good experience, but there's room for improvement in service and maintenance.

I loved the location of this hotel. it's really convenient for accessing events in the area. The bar staff did an amazing job during busy hours, providing prompt and friendly service. My room had a unique layout, which I appreciated. However, several issues made my stay less enjoyable. The online reviews warned about irregular water pressure, which I experienced firsthand. I had no hot water for much of my stay, making showers uncomfortable. The room could use some serious updates. the furniture felt outdated, and I found some cigarette burns in the bedding. The check-in process was slow and felt chaotic. Also, the breakfast options were limited and not very appealing. The constant smell of weed in the hallways was quite unpleasant. I had high hopes, but there’s definitely room for improvement here.

The atmosphere had a charming vintage vibe that truly gave it character. I came to explore Detroit's vibrant culinary scene, and I was not disappointed! I enjoyed a fantastic meal at La Musique nearby, which offered amazing farm-to-table dishes. Afterward, I relaxed with some delightful cocktails at Woodward Cocktail Bar. The mini-suite I stayed in was cozy and had a cool layout, perfect for unwinding after a busy day.

Detroit's culinary scene is on fire! I hit up La Musique right around the corner—seriously fresh farm-to-table vibes. The after-hours sips at Woodward Cocktail Bar were the cherry on top of my nightlife adventure. Plus, I had an amazing mini-suite with a cool layout and a private bath! Okay, so the hotel vibe was a little dated—I felt like I'd traveled back in time! But honestly, it had its charm and made the stay all the more interesting.
